Back to Reality..........Cold & Snow

I arrived back home last night on schedule, all my flights were on time and went smoothly but I miss the warm temperatures!  It was 28 degrees when I got off the plane in La Crosse :( It started snowing a little while ago and that's the start of a large snow storm which is supposed to bring 6-16 inches & possibly ice. I guess that's my welcome home hahahaha. So Andrew are you sure you don't want to come visit right now?!?!? ;)

I had a great week visiting Mel & Ryder and am going to miss them! Love you all :)

Ryder's First Visit from Auntie Angela

I'm in King George this week visiting Melissa, Andrew and new nephew Ryder! The weather is mild compared to home so it feels even more like a vacation :) I arrived Saturday afternoon a few hours later than expected since my flight from Chicago to Richmond was cancelled due to mechanical problems. I was a little bored in the airport but I'd take that any day over being in a plane with issues!

Its been a lot of fun having girl time with Mel and learning Ryder's personality and everything 'baby' and I haven't even 'broken' him yet ;) hahaha He's so good and I love all the faces he makes. We've gotten some good pictures together but I have a few more days to snap more before leaving on Saturday. Once I get back home I'll be able to share more photos from my camera so stay tuned!

I make these sunglasses look good ;)

Super Bowl Champions!!!!!!

Woooohooo! In case anyone couldn't hear us, our house was shaking from all the jumping up and down & screaming from our win! I picked a good year to get into this football thing ;) I already ordered our Super Bowl t-shirts! Way to go Packer's :)

Tired from cheering but happy!

Super Bowl Sunday!!!

The Super Bowl is finally here and we're ready to celebrate! We're having mom and dad come over for pre-game dinner in true Wisconsin style of brats & burgers and Grammie P's potato salad :) David insisted we have a Packer themed dessert so I baked the cake and he decorated it. I think it turned out pretty well for not having any cake decorating tools!

David being oh so careful

It snowed, and I use that term lightly, because it was less than an inch but David got called in to work at 11am for snow removal for a couple of businesses..ugh! I'm just getting the house cleaned and laundry done in the mean time so I can relax the rest of the day. Hopefully Ryder will be our good luck charm again this week in his adorable Packer onesie ;)
